This gorgeous couple was married a couple of weeks ago at a beautiful spot at the University of Queensland. Despite a little rain, it was a perfect ceremony.
The day started with getting a couple of shots of Julia getting ready at home. And what a lovely home… I’m a sucker for a terazzo floor –
Julia looked so elegant… it was so easy to photograph her in the beautuful light in their home.
Had to get a shot in this bathroom…!
We headed out to UQ to catch up with Brett at the ceremony venue.
You might recognise Jason, Brett’s best man from a family shoot I did not long ago… (you can check it out here)
The girls looked gorgeous despite the rain.
these two just didn’t stop gazing at each other the whole way through the ceremony…
After the beautiful ceremony we took a couple of pics around the Great Court and then headed out to the lake.
I forgot to mention that I was accompanied by the very lovely Denise Yates who, as you can see has quite a talent for the close-up romantic shots –
couldn’t resist this shot in the car park near the lake… such moody lighting.
The jacaranda’s were out in full bloom –
We stopped into Brett and Julia’s suit at the Stamford Plaza for a glass of champagne and a relax before heading over to Restaurant Two for the reception. We had such a great afternoon with these two lovely people…
